Project Three Sixty Whenever 2011

Project 365, for those not in the know, is the fabulous notion that one commits to taking a photo a day for 365 days in order to chronicle one's life, improve as a photographer, and get into the daily practice of shooting.

I believe that Project 365 works for any art form/craft that you love. I encourage you to try it yourself.

That being said, for the purposes of 2011, I choose photography as my project of choice.

Now, I know myself well enough to know that if I set myself up to shoot every single day, that I will skip a day and feel like I somehow failed and over time I will put down my project feeling defeated. This is why I've chosen to call mine Project Three Sixty Whenever instead.

It is April, and on average I seem to miss an average of 7 days of shooting per month. That means I'm shooting 21-23 days every month and that? Rocks!!!

Without the pressure to shoot every day, I have the freedom to lapse here and there but the focus to keep picking up the camera as often as possible. (Though I have to 'fess that I'm always about month behind on processing. But hey, they're getting taken! *grin*)

Ive posted my images here with the hope that you will enjoy them, and that perhaps my experience will inspire you to a Project Three Sixty Whenever of your own! :)
